This page provides information about the projects those have been approved and funded. The centennial committee has provided funds to the UNO campuses and organizations to develop their own centennial projects and/or enhance existing events to incorporate a centennial focus. We believe, these helped in reestablishing, as well as creating connections to the university with alumni as well as corporate and community partners.

Visit the online Gateway Archive The first project funded through the UNO Centennial Project Fund was the digitization of the Gateway. Digital versions of the Gateway from October 3, 1922 through July 26, 2005 are now available on the website. This project will allow anyone interested to research the history of UNO and will be an important tool for planning UNO Centennial projects and celebrations.

Josie Metal-Corbin and Sharon Sobel proposed the second project funded by the UNO Centennial Project Fund. The UNO Moving Company and the Department of Theater are teaming up to develop a presentation at UNO's Centennial Gala Celebration on February 21, 2009. The project, currently titled "Living Tableaus," will use dancers and actors dressed in period costumes to provide snapshots of life throughout the years at UNO.
